Wines from Mas Des Mesures
Mas Des Mesures winesSymbiose 2023
The estate's mosaic cuvée — Aramon, Terret Noir, Alicante-Bouschet and Carignan from old non-mechanisable gobelet vines (60–90 years), all co-fermented in carbonic maceration. The most labour-intensive wine in the range. About 1,500 bottles per year.

Fractale 2022
Traditional method, 100% Chardonnay — 18 months sur lattes, then hand-riddling and disgorgement. Zero dosage: no sulphur or sugar added after disgorgement. Also available in a 100% Aramon version (old gobelet vines, selection massale, 60–90 years). About 1,000 bottles in total.

Barycentre 2023
100% Chardonnay from a single plot at 300m altitude in Haute Vallée de l'Orb. The whole batch ferments together with indigenous yeasts — elevage in three vessels: stoneware, old wood and stainless steel. Complexity without intervention. About 2,000 bottles per year.

Kairos 2024
The estate's newest cuvée — from the first grapes of a vineyard planted in 2022 in gobelet with Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Clairette, Viognier and Vermentino. Direct press, fermented in stainless steel, half aged in amphora and half in old wood.

Claparedes 2023
Grenache Noir dominated — a 50-year-old gobelet plot at 400m altitude with a south-facing aspect. Limestone, sandstone and shale outcrops on this terroir. Vinified in stainless steel without additives, elevage in stoneware and old wood. A Grenache with mountain accents, depth and much freshness. About 2,000 bottles per year.

Septentrion 2023
Mainly Syrah from a plot at 300m altitude with north-eastern exposure on sandy-schistous alluvium. The north-eastern aspect gives very late maturity for the region, allowing slow phenolic development and good acidity — hence the cuvée's name and its North Rhône dimension. Elevage in wood. About 2,000 bottles per year.

Gemme 2023
A "blouge" wine — direct press of Syrah, Grenache, Aramon and Muscat Petit Grain in carbonic maceration. Syrah for colour stability, Aramon for freshness, Grenache for fruit and Muscat for flavour. A gastronomic rosé with ageing potential. About 1,500 bottles per year.

Premices 2024
White wine with skin contact — Grenache Blanc/Gris (60-year-old vines) on calcareous sandstone and young vines of Terret, Maccabeu and Muscat. Destemmed and vinified in amphora, pressed, then 6 months elevage in amphora and old wood.

About Mas Des Mesures
Vincent Augé is a trained oenologist who chose to go against the grain. He runs Mas des Mesures in Le Pradal in the Haute Vallée de l'Orb — an area in northern Hérault with mountain terrain, a cooler climate and schist soils that differ markedly from coastal Languedoc. Vincent works biodynamically on 3 hectares spread across several parcels between 300 and 400 metres altitude. The varieties include a mix of classic Languedoc types — Grenache, Syrah, Aramon, Carignan, Terret Noir, Alicante-Bouschet and Chardonnay. Many plantings are old gobelet vines aged 50–90 years. In the cellar: no additives, no sulphites, indigenous yeasts only, elevage in stoneware, wood and stainless steel depending on the cuvée. Each wine is an expression of a specific parcel and a specific terroir — Vincent's oenological background shows in the precision, not in the intervention.
